Website SEO Checker

Checks one page against about 40 things that decide how search engines and AI assistants read it, and shows the evidence for each.

We fetch the page for you. Our server fetches the public address you enter and reads the response. Nothing you enter is stored. Free, no account.

Finding the problem is the first half.

RankBrain guides code changes to titles, canonicals, structured data and internal links. Review and test them; your AI tool controls approvals.

RankBrain works on websites built in code, through the AI tool you already use (Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, ChatGPT).

How it works

Your page is live but you are not sure what a crawler actually reads when it arrives. This checker fetches the page from our server, the same way a crawler does, and tests it against about 40 things. Each result names the tag or header it found, why it matters and how to fix it.

  1. 1

We fetch the page from our server, the same way a crawler does, and parse the HTML it returns. No browser, no JavaScript: this is the first thing every crawler sees.

  2. 2

Alongside the page we fetch robots.txt, look for the sitemap, request the http:// and www versions of the address, and test a sample of up to 28 links on the page.

  3. 3

Every check reports what was found (the exact tag or header), why it matters and how to fix it. The score is the weighted share of checks passed: a check that decides whether the page can rank at all counts three times a hygiene check.

What it does not do

  • One page per run. It does not crawl the whole site.

  • It reads server HTML, not the rendered page. A sparse response may suggest JavaScript dependence; it cannot prove what rendering would reveal.

  • It cannot see rankings or traffic. Those live in Search Console.

When a source is busy or a site does not answer, this tool says so. It never fills the gap with a guess.

Questions

Why does the check say content is missing when I can see it in the browser?

The checker reads the HTML the server sends, with no browser and no JavaScript. Content your browser builds after the page loads is not in that HTML, so it is not in the check. That first response is what a crawler sees. If the result flags this, the content needs to be in the HTML the server returns.

The score is 62. What does that number mean?

The score is the weighted share of checks the page passed. A check that decides whether the page can rank at all counts three times a hygiene check, so a few big problems pull the score down more than several small ones. It covers one page. It says nothing about rankings or traffic.

Does it check my whole site?

No. One page per run. It does not crawl the site. To get a view of the whole site, run it on the pages that matter most: the home page, the main service or product pages, and a blog post. That shows how the site is built without a full crawl.
