Backlink Checker

Finds pages that mention your domain, opens each one and reports the links that are really there today.

We fetch the page for you. Our server fetches the public address you enter and reads the response. Nothing you enter is stored. Free, no account.

How it works

You found your domain mentioned on a page and want to know if the link is there. Paste your domain and this tool finds pages that mention it, opens them and reads the HTML. You see the anchor text, the target, whether it is followed, and pages that mention you without linking.

  1. 1

We search the web for pages that mention your domain, then open up to 30 of them and read the HTML.

  2. 2

A row is called a link only if an anchor pointing to your domain is in the page right now. You see the anchor text, the target, whether it is followed or nofollow, and the authority of the linking site.

  3. 3

Pages that mention you without linking are listed separately: each one is a link you can ask for. You can also paste up to 25 addresses to verify a list you already have.

What it does not do

  • This is a live-verified sample, not a full index. Paid link indexes list more links, including many that no longer exist.

  • Search Console offers a sample of links Google knows about, under Links; it is not a complete backlink index.

  • Discovery depends on web search. When search is busy, pasted addresses can still be verified.

When a source is busy or a site does not answer, this tool says so. It never fills the gap with a guess.

Questions

Why does this list differ from the one in Search Console?

Search Console shows a sample of links Google knows about, under Links, not a complete index. This tool searches the web, opens up to 30 mentioning pages and reads their HTML, so a row is a link only when the anchor is in the page today. It is a live-verified sample, not a full index.

A page mentions my site but shows no link. What can I do?

A mention without a link is a link you can ask for. The tool lists those pages separately, so you have a target list. Write to the site owner, point at the page and the sentence, and ask for an anchor to your domain. Nothing here guarantees they will add one.

I already have a list of links. Can I check those?

Yes. Paste up to 25 addresses and the tool opens each one and reads the HTML, so you see which anchors are live now. This works even when web search is busy, because no discovery is needed. Each address is checked the same way: anchor text, target, followed or nofollow, and the authority of the linking site.
